way for a CVS. The mayor, whose father built the theatre in the early

Lombard,
Illinois's Village Council has demolished the historic DuPage Theatre
- even though the state offered it more than $1 million in grants
for the theatre's rehabilitation, the Council says it has no plans
for the site, and a circuit court judge issued a restraining order
prohibiting the demolition.
Randolph County, Indiana's County Commission, which voted earlier
this year to demolish its 128-year-old county courthouse, wants
